Disassembled each and every part taking care to do in order for proper reassembly. The difficult part is trying to get the front housing off the ice holder container. The clips are extremly tight. It took two of us as you need four hands to insure you get both sides to release at the same time. Once you get the front housing off, there is a retainer ring and O rings on the back side that you have to remove in order to get the auger free. Once free, there is a plastic nut on the front of the auger that you undo with pliers, very carefully. Once that is done it is a matter of taking the auger apart and making sure that you put everything back in the order that it came off.. It takes a little time, but it works fine now.
