I watched the video on how to to do the replacement on a similar part. VERY HELPFUL! But why would any one pay more for the part with out the handle??? I ordered the part, regular shipping and it was here in 2 business days.
Then I had to buy a new screw driver for the 11 idiotic screws Maytag uses to hold door panel instead of something normal like a Phillips. That was the most difficult part of the repair. I wiggled the metal prongs loose from the switches and put the new part in. Two screws at top hold the handle in place. Put remaing screws back and Ta Da... Even a blonde woman did it with ease.
