First off I need to say from the time I discovered the problem to the time it was fixed was less then 24 hr. I ordered the part and the next morning at 9:30 am it was here. I unpluged the washer removed the four screws from the top of the face of the control panel, popped off the knob cover removed the stay clip and the knob came off. removed the two nuts with a nut driver. pulled the front of the panel and took out the timer unpluged it put the new one in the same was I remover the old one pluged it back in and it works like new. thank you
