To solve problem of no ice or water in the door I replaced the inlet valve. This was very easy, took less than 30 minutes. 2nd problem was that the auger mechanism was worn and when it was producing ice, would not deliver thge ice to the door. I bought replacement auger kit. Replacement was pretty involved as you had to tear the unit totally down, even removing ice crusher blades as they also install on the auger shaft. All those blades go in a certain order and have spacers that have to go back as well. I struggled with it for over an hour before getting it back together. My advice, use your digital camera and photograph each step of the teardown so you have a guide for reassembly because you end up with a lot of pieces. I finally got it back together, I am now getting nice perfect ice cubes, I have full flow of water in the door, where it had become a needle thin stream, and I have ice in the door and it all works smoothly and I am totally happy with it and my wife thinks I am a hero!
