First I turned the breaker off. Then I unscrewed the 2 nuts for the bottom burner. Disconnecting the one plug was easy, but when I unplugged the other one, the electrical cord sprung back up into the oven. That is what took so long, getting the cord from inside the oven. Thankfully I hve small fingers so it didn't take too long. I then connected the electrical cords to the new burner. Finally, I screwed in the nuts.
