Defective lid switch needs replacement

Washer was in confined area (laundry room) so manuevering unit into open area where machine cover could be removed and replacing the cover in confined space added extra 30 minutes repair time. Online video instructions were very helpful, so replacing the assembly itself was easy. Reseating the machine cover can be a bit tricky however. I found notches on the lower rear lip of the machine cover that had to be seated on guide posts on the lower rear frame. More attention to this detail in the video would have been helpful.
