drive coupling teeth were worn out

popped the drive coupling off with a screw driver, hesitant at first, guess I could have held the drive shaft and unscrewed it but I followed the directions and the metal threads on the drive were soft so it just popped off, then I screwed the new on on and voila! like new, took less than a minute and $7 is much cheaper than a new blender!
