Shut off power to the stove.
Pulled stove out of cabined
Removed two screws from each side that secure the top to the stove frame.
Remove 4 screws from each heating element support (2 supports total of 8 screws) securing the supports to the stove top.
Remove two screws from the bracket securing the wiring for the clock, timer, ect.
Remove the old top
Replaced the oven light switch before installing new top.
Replaced the 2 screws for the bracket securing the wiring for the clock, timer, etc.
Replaced the screws securing the brackets supporting the heating elements to the stove top.(Care must be taken to ensure heating elements remain in the correct postion. Each element has to small legs that go into holes in the supporting brackets. Each leg has a spring that causes the heating element to push up against the bottom of the stove top.)
Replace the 4 screws that secure the stove top to the stove frame.
Pushed stop back into cabinet.
Turned on the power to the stove.
Replaced the oven light protective globe.
