Unplugged the electrical connection. Pulled the dryer out of it's area for room to remove the back panel. Removed the back panel (hand nutdriver). Removed the wires from their posts off the heating element (pliers). Removed the heating element. Verified it was damaged (broken heating element wire). -- Tried to replace the Thermal Cut-Off kit... the same type was not the same on the old heating element. I would have had one extra wire unattached if I used the replacement. Moved the old Thermal Cut-off to the new heating element. Reversed the steps with the new heating element. Pushed the dryer back into position. Threw some wet clothes in, the dryer seems to dry faster than before. Happy Wife, Happy Life... ;)
