I turned the power off to the microwave. I remove the damaged keypad from the microwave with a screwdriver. Then I removed the circuit board from the damaged keypad with a screwdriver and installed it in the new keypad. I installed the new key pad in the old microwave. Turned the power on and followed the instructions on the keypad.
