Remembr to switch off main power to the oven
Fisrt I unscrewed the double oven housing from the kitchen unit and pulled out the oven about 3 inches.
Second, I unscrewed the three securing nuts from the underside of the control panel face.
Third I released the face pace onto which the controller unit sits.
Fouth I took four digital photographs of the wiring connection onto the back of the contoller unit, with emphasis on point of connections for the wiring.
Fifth. I unscrewed 4 fixing screws and the earthing screw from the old control panel from the display cover of the oven leaving the wiring intact on the old controller. I also detached the digital contoller interface to fully release the oven display casing.
Sixth, I attached the repalcement controller to the oven display facing panel.
Seventh, I compared my digital photographs of the wiring on the contoller to ensure I tranferred the pop-out wiring correctly to the new unit.
Eighth, I transferred all of the color coded wires across to the new controller one at a time. Finally I attached the earthing cable and screw back onto the display casing.
Ninth. Reassembled oven face panel and fixed oven housing to kitchen cabinets. Activated circuit and Presto! - it works perfectly.
Took about 40 minutes. Easy parts order, easy to replace.
