Visitor Rating Handle broke off while trying to open microwave Overall Rating: Excellent Rated By: 3 Customers Posted By: Patrick From Houston, TX Posted: 7/6/2007 9:11:45 PM Appliance Repaired: General Electric Microwave Age Of Appliance: 5 - 10 years Opened microwave and removed screws to the door handle from the inside face of the microwave oven door. Once the screws were removed, I removed the broken handle pieces, placed the new handle in the existing holes, and reattached the handle using the original screws. All this was done in under 5 minutes. Parts Used: Door Handle Assembly Level of difficulty: Really easy Time to do repair: Less than 15 mins Screw drivers How helpful was this repair story?
