Oven latch malfunctioned....glass on oven door broke

I had to replace the outer glass on my oven door, which was fairly easy. That took about 20 minutes. The oven latch, which is used to hold the door closed during the self clean cycyle, was a bit more challenging. Due to the confined work space, and variour wires that had to be disconnected, I would not recommend this self-repair for someone who isn't at least a little technical. Wasn't incredibly hard, just make sure you note the location where the wire connect, and do not get frustrated getting the old latch out, or the new latch in.
