Direct Drive Coupling between motor and gear box broke

You need to take apart the entire washing machine. Disconnect the motor from the gear box. I made the mistake of taking the gear box apart and spilled oil everywhere so don't do that!! But other than that it's not too complicated just replace it. I had to use a hammer to tap in the couplings but be easy and take your time because if you break it you're out $20 and a couple hours.
