Oven did not heat
Very easy fix. This is done through the oven door. Don't pull it out or do anything exotic. Turn the breaker off. Don't skip this Since you're dealing with 220v here. Shine a bright light into the back of the oven to identify the element attachment screws. Use a number 2 Phillips to remove the 2 screws holding the element in place. Pull the element straight out. This may require a bit of manipulation wiggling back an forth. Don't yank to hard. There was probably 6" of free wire. Next free the wires attached via spade terminals from the old element. Putt the new element in place and reattach the wires. Carefully push wires back thru the holes and secure with the screws. Reset the breaker and turn it on. Totally simple. My oven was 18 years old and the screws came right out. I expected difficulty but none encountered.

baking element replacement
Very simple fix. I pulled the stove away from the wall and unplugged from outlet. Open the oven door and remove the oven racks. I used a phillips screw driver to remove the 2 screws holding the element and then pulled out. There were 2 wires attached to the element, those just pull off. Just reverse the process with the new element and you are good to go.

Baking Element Went
The hardest part was the two screws (they were baked on I guess). We turned off the breaker, put paper towels in the oven carefully sprayed wd40 on the screw. Waited about 5 minutes unscrewed the two screws, gently pulled out the plate. When you pull the two wires out there are two contacts. Look at the direction their on. Slide them off put in the new unit to the contacts, gently slide back in and put the two screws back. It was really that easy and I had no idea what I was doing. No need to pull oven out can all be done for the front side.

Broken Element
Quick as I could with bad knee and empty stomach. Pizza was waiting to be cooked. . The young lady that took my order needs a bonus, exceptional extra effort on her part to get me the part. Very pleased with her attitude and service, hope you can track her down.

Bake Element Died
Had to use wd-40 to get the old part loose (oven is over 15 years old) and used pliers to pull apart from the oven. Replaced with the new part and works great. . . Once I used the wd-40 to loosen, it was super easy.

The heating element caught on fire
I turned off the breaker and unscrewed the element. Removed the plug connection and once I got the correct part, we plugged it in, screwed it back into the oven wall and done! I am a single female and was able to replace the heating element in a short amount of time with assistance from my 16 year old son!! I was very surprised at how easy it was to repair. The key is to get the correct part the 1st time!

Original heating element was fried.
First, I turned off the power to the house at the breaker box. Then I removed the broken heating element through the front oven door. I hoped this would work as it seemed from other reviews that some people pulled the oven out removed the back panel in order to access the element. I unscrewed the plate and then gently pulled the element out. I had a little trouble "unplugging" the element. When I tried pulling, it seemed they were stuck tight. Turns out you have to sort of jiggle the connectors and then they easily pull apart. Had I figured this out initially, the repair would have been under 15 minutes. Attaching the new element to the connectors, rethreading the wiring back into the holes, and then rescrewing on the back plate too the oven wall took just minutes. Easy peasy. So glad I spent $40 to fix rather then $500+ for a new oven!
