I checked the lid switch and it looked a little wobbly so, I figured this was the problem. Ordered the part from parts.com (so easy) Took the back off the washer which was a little challenging. unscrewed the 2 screws holding the lid switch and reached down and removed the wiring attached to the switch from the clamp and unplugged it from the housing.Inserted the new switch replaced the screws and plugged it in very easy. The hard part was putting the back on the washer. It was a little difficult because of the 2 metal clamps that hold the back, otherwise very easy. I am a girl and I did it!!
