Easy job and I'm no expert!
1. Open the dishwasher door
2. Remove the 8 torx screws holding the back of the door to the front of the door
3. Carefully separate the two
4. Locate the wax motor in question (there were 2 on my unit) and verified it was free to move, the spring action was working properly, etc.
5. Simply unclip the motor, pull the 2 wires, and replace in the same order
Upon the first cycle, we were delighted to find the soap door OPEN and the soap gone! (Whereas before the door would be closed and the soap still inside.)
