First, I removed the two screws holding the front panel in place. These are on the underside of a lip on the front panel - you can't see them unless you get your head down low. Once these screws are removed, the front panel swings up and you can lift it off (you might need to disconnect the door switch). The heater housing has a few obvious mounting screws to remove (and easily removed wiring). There is one mounting screw at the back of the housing, which slightly hard to get to (not hard to remove, bit slightly hard to install). After I replaced the heater housing, the heat only worked for a short time. Next supicious device was the thermostat located on the heater housing. I had to remove the heater housing (again) to get to it. Once I replaced the thermostat, the dryer worked perfectly.
