first you have to remove the bottom tray of the water dispenser area. Not easy if its never been off. But both hands on the tray with thumbs on the doors, push down and pull towards you. Then take the three screws out that hold the water panel in place. Remove the water line from the panel by pulling up, may need pliers. Optional is, I decided to take the ribbon wire off of the back of the panel(ease the rest of the install), fairly simple but it has very small slide locks on each side of the ribbon connection, and then take the screws out of the small panel on the back. Once water panel is on the counter front side down, remove old paddle, install new one, and make sure the spring is behind the paddle arm. You may need someone to hold the water panel while you push the new paddle into place past the bump stops. Then reverse the process.... here is where the hemostats or long small needle nose are needed to pull the water line back down thru the water outlet. Then I put the small panel with its ribbon cable back in place and tested the lights before, putting in the final screws and bottom tray. Good luck:)
