nylon cogs were worn, appears gasket didn't hold, soaked the assy. with detergent etc...

Removed agitator basket, removed factory installed bolt ( with a 2' bar on an extension ratchet ) If the hold down bolt were not put on so incredibly tight, the repair would have taken about 15 minutes I think. Stating in the repair instructions that the bolt was in fact a "right hand" thread, would probably help alot of people if they run into the OVER torque condition that I ran into. Trying to remove it ordinarily, you think that maybe it's a left hand thread which I'm sure has already led to snapping this bolt off. Then you have problems. lol
