Dryer worked but wouldn't heat up

My dryer had stopped heating up. I googled the scenario and looked at a site that told me how to check my heating element. Then I procrastinated for two weeks. I was finally running out of clean clothes and faced with a trip to the laundrymat to dry a batch of clothes, I googled the scenario again and found this website. I opened the back of my dryer in about 5 minutes and removed the heating element. Checked it for continiuty and it was bad. I compared it to the picture of the element on this site. Perfect match so I ordered one immediately. I checked the site closer to get an idea where the element would be shipping from. didn't really say but did say the main distribution center was in Louisville Kentucky. That gave me an idea of how long I'd have to wait for my new element since I was still dreading a trip to the coin op. I ordered on a Sunday. Monday received an email saying the element had shipped and gave me a link to track the shipment. I checked the tracking number and saw the item had been picked up by FEDEX in Lenexa Kansas. I was concerned because I had it shipping to me at an address in Lenexa Kansas. Thought there had been some mistake with the tracking. I run shipping and receiving for a hydraulic distribution company in Lenexa so I'm in the business so to speak. I thought oh well we will see. The package showed up next day and was indeed shipped from Lenexa. What a pleasant surprise that added to an overall excellant experience with my purchase from PartSelect.com. I took my new element home with me that night after work installed it in my dryer and had the dryer up and running in 10 minutes. Total time my dryer was out of service not counting my two weeks of procrastinating was less than 2 days. I have recommended this site to friends family and co workers and will use it again!!!
