Unit dead, not working

Fuse assembly was blown do to the switch connector wiring being loose. This created extreme heat and tripped the fuse. I replace the fuse and switch assembly and made sure all connections were firm and secure. First remove power from the unit.
Remove 4 screws that hold the from panel. Remove the panel and unhook the ribbon connector. Remove the other six screws and slid the inner panel down and out. I then removed the switch assembly and installed the new one. Re-attached the inner panel and then the control panel. Turned power back on.
