My husband is a plumber...but did not have time to make the repair. So I took it upon myself!Super Easy!1. Unplugged Fridge2. Unscrewed the 3 screws on motor3. Pulled out old motor 3. Had to pour some hot water to melt ice cubes that were currently in the shoot. (because the new part would not line up correctly because of the frozen cubes inside the maker). Then soaked up all the water with towels.4. Inserted the new motor5. Put 3 screws back in.ICE, ICE BABY! Within a couple hours it was dropping ice into the bucket! Husband came home, and I told him I fixed the ice maker (his expression was of dread)...and then he checked it out and all was perfect! So proud!
