machine would not agitate or spin

Instead of removing the cabinet, as all the repair procedures indicate, I just put the machine over on its back.
The motor, pump and transmission are right there on the bottom.
Two clamps to remove the pump, two clamps to remove the motor, replace the coupling, reverse what was just taken apart and the washer is good to go.
The reason it took so long was pulling it away from the wall and disconnecting the hoses, not forgetting to unplug the cord.
