First I shut off power to the oven. Then, using a nut driver, I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and unscrewed the two screws that make the electrical connection. Removed the old element and put in the new one. Turned on power and ran the oven for a while to verify that it worked and to burn off any oils on the element.
