Turned off the breakers controling the hood and range(the range is glass top with touch controls and I had to sit on it to see up inside of the hood) Took down the grease filters, removed two screws to take down the cover for the fan and wiring. Pulled off knobs and unscrewed the nut holding switches inside of housing. Had a new light switch on hand, using wiring as attached and wiring diagram (inside the back wall of the hood) wired the new switch in, found the blower switch was cracked. covered bare wires with electrical tape and ordered blower switch. Upon arrival of part, wired blower switch. Hardest part was getting the switches back inside of the hood and installed right way around so indicators on knobs were pointed correctly. Could have used three hands, I only have two, but you would be amazed how handy a pair of visegrips are :) By the way, my hood works perfectly!
