First I disconnected all hoses and laid the washer on its back. Then I disconnected all electrical plugs to the motor. With a pliers I removed the hose clamps and hoses connected to the water pump(this set may not be neccesary, but it makes removal of the motor assembly easier). Snap off the two retaining clips that hold the water pump to the back of the motor. With the pump out of the way, you will see two retaininig clips that holds the motor in place. Use a 9/32 socket to remove the bolt that holds the retaining clip in place. Pull the motor away fom the tranmission (use care the motor is HEAVY). Remove the broken coupling from the motor and transmissin shaft. This may take some prying with a screwdriver. Place a new plastic sleeve on both the transmissin and motor shaft. It will be a tight fit so you will have to tap it on with a hammer (use gentle love taps until it is seated on each shaft). I placed the rubber coupling over the transmission sleeve pin. I aligned the pins of the motor sleeve with the rubber coupling then remounted the motor . Then reconnected the pump, hoses and all electrical .
