I removed the front cover of the the ice maker with a screwdriver. Then, use the screwdriver to remove the motor assembly, which just slides out after the screws are out. Then, replace the motor assembly with the new one, replace both sets of screws and voila! The motor dial started working and about an hour later, I had ice!
