The repair was easy. I just pulled out the old door gasket and cleaned the area where it was and installed the new gasket by just pushing it in the door channel. This took about 10 minutes. Then I replaced the upper spray arm by taking the old plastic nut off by turning it by hand and replacing it with a new one. After doing this I just pushed the spray arm up into it till it locked in. This took about 5 minutes. All together to fix my project it took about 15 minutes. But the best part is the dishwasher does not leak any more and runs as it should.
