Washer was leaking from the front end of the bottom

I removed the top as instructed and verified the pump was leaking. Getting the top back on is a little tricky, but if you angle it right it goes right back on. After ordering and receiving the replacement part from partselect I removed the top from the washer again using a philips screwdriver, and used pliers to shift the hose clamps of the old pump so I could remove them. There was about a quart of water in the hoses and the towels I put underneath took care of that. Then I removed the clamps holding the pump in place (no tools needed there) and put the replacement in. works beautifully!
