Unpluged the dryer and removed the rear cover to get access to the timer. Removed the control panel and unscrewed the timer leaving the wires connected. One by one connected the wires to the new timer along with the resistor. Secured the timer to the control panel and attached the control panel and rear cover. If you have enough room you do not have to remove the control panel. The dryer works great.
