After troubleshooting my machine and ordering the timer, the rest was a piece of cake.
I first removed the four screws that retain the face plate to the washer, I then pryed the cap off of the timer knob with a flat-blade screwdriver, removed the clip on the shaft of the timer, slipped off the timer knob and spring, unplugged the two multi-pin connections from the timer and removed the faulty timer.
Installation was just a reverse process of the above.
So easy a caveman can do it!!
