First I removed the lint screen and removed the two screws holding the top of the dryer on. Next I removed the other two screws by the door switch (in the door jam). I pried the top open, slid it forward and up and had my son hold it up for me. After that, I tried for about 10 to 15 minutes to unplug the door switch from the wiring. WOW!!! After that got loose, I plug in the new one and viola, the dryer is working again. I got the suggestion from to check the door switch after posing the problem. I saved a bundle. Don't forget to turn off the breaker first and unplug he dryer. It a lot of pushing stuff back and forth but it was worth it. Thank yo all.
