oven wouldnt heat

yes i removed the two screws then i pulled the element and had short circuted the breaker as i had not switched off the breaker my fault.
installation time breaker off but as the two wires had fallen back i had to pull the oven out and go at the back removed the back panel and pushed the two wires into the oven and connected the element.
lesson learned
1-swith off the range breaker
2- remove the two screws and pull the element making sure that you pull the wires with it
3-remove the wire from the element
4-replace the element
had to take the turkey to my daughters home after staying in the oven for two hours and then realising that the elemnet was no good
