disconnected power plug (at icemaker), loosened two upper screws and removed one lower screw, then removed bad icemaker. Removed end plate from timer assy. and to allow removal of ice level sensing loop. removed ice sensing wire loop and installed on new icemaker. reinstalled new icemaker and it works like new.
