Oven would not heat, burners and broiler would
First pull oven door up and off hinges, this should slide right off. Remove oven racks. Remove heat shield at bottom of oven, this should have small slide lock at front bottom of oven, just twist to unlock. You will then see the burner tube and ignitor which is connected to the burner tube. The ignitor is connected to another flange which is welded to the burner tube, by disconnecting the burner tube you have much easier access to the two screws holding the ignitor on to the tube. Remove the hexhead screw connecting burner tube flange to bottom of oven, then slide burner to the left to remove from gas supply tube, this should slide right off. Pull carefully towards yourself to pull wired connections of ignitor through hole in back of oven. Disconnect wirenuts, there should be two for the two wires connecting the ignitor, these may be wrapped in heat or electrical tape, remove tape. You now can pull the entire assembley of Ignitor and burner tube out of oven. Now remove the two threaded hexhead screws connecting the ignitor to flange on bottom of burner tube. That's it. Re-connect new ignitor to flange on burner tube, put tube and ignitor back into oven and re-connect wires using original wirenuts, use heat tape or electrical tape to wrap wires and wire nuts, push wires through hole in back of oven and re-position / re-attach burner tube. Secure burner tube with hexhead screw, replace heat shield, racks and door and voila. Should take less than 20 minutes unless you have a stripped screw attaching ignitor to supply tube flange.

bottom igniter died
Getting the original screws out was a pain, but once I got them out I disconnected to old wires and attache the new wires. Installing the new igniter was VERY easy compared to removing th original one!

broiler was not lighting all the time
the broiler would light once in awhile and it appeared that the igniter was working. But it wouldn't let enough current through to open the gas valve. The nuts holding it on broke off but drilling them out and replacing with two sheet metal screws worked ok. Don't know how that will hold up to the heat though. The wiring was easy to connect ( wire nuts) but the lead wires from the stove are not that long so all the operation had to be done way in the back of the oven enclosure.

Oven slow to actually lite fire. Current igniter glows but for some reason oven takes long to lite thus causing somewhat of a gas build up pushing door to oven slightly open from the pressure when finally lit.

Hi Lamont, Thank you for your question. If the oven is slow to light, then you will need to check oven safety valve and the oven ignitor to see which part is causing the issue. If you need to consult the owner's manual for your appliance, here is a link from our website that you may reference, https://partselectcom.azureedge.net/assets/manuals/B0A13323CD5DAF063352D49DD61B00ECFBAF7B1C.pdf. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
