Dryer would not heat

I suspected the heating element so I pulled up the part on the parts direct website to see what it looked like. I then removed the back of the dryer and located the part. Once removed, I visually inspected the part and noticed that one of the coils had broken so I knew this was the part I needed. I was able to temporarily wrap the coils together so the dryer would work until the new part arrived. The repair was very simple.
