After having an Appliance repairman spend 1.5 hours trying to fix the machine I sent him away and told him I wouldn't pay more than .5 hours labor as he clearly didn't know what he was doing. He didn't have a schematic and I believe he actually made the problem worse.
Using the part blowup on partselect I was able to identify the part needed and purchase it in a few minutes.
In the future, I will diagnose and try to fix this type of problem myself instead of wasting the time and money with "repair" experts...
