Disconnected electrical power. Removed dryer back (8 screws). Disconnected heating element electrical wires (2). Checked continuity across heating element to confirm problem was element.

No continuity confirmed (open). Ordered part, installed upon delivery. Dryer checked operational.

Part of preventative maintenance includes removing dryer back and vacuuming lint once every 6 months. The dryer works like new and this is the very first problem ever experienced.
