Opened the box and felt that the packaging was too minimal; needed more cushioning and static wrap around circuit board. One tie-wrap was broken around one component on the circuit board so I replaced it myself. Contacted PartSelect to let them know about packaging and also asked to ensure that I had received the correct part because the components were not arranged the same as the board that came off. I was told that it was the correct part. (1) Unplugged dryer. (2) Removed hardware (screws & nutscrews) from back of display support. (3) Detached display support and laid flat on top of dryer for access to wiring. (4) Took digital picture of wiring connecting to circuit beard (old habit) even though all is color-coded but markings are a bit small. (5) Disconnected all wiring (some being tight) and unscrewed the board which was burned in places. (6) Installed new part (reverse order). In all, not hard at all. PartSelect customer suport people are very nice. After all said and done, found part was available locally with life-time warrenty for $10 more; PartSelect warrenty is only 1 year. I paid $175 which included shipping.
