Rubber tube deteriorated and top rack kept jamming

First I pulled off the tube that was hanging down and obstructing the rotation of the top spinner. Then I just reinserted the new tube. I'm a "do it your selfer" and I usually fix things by my self. But the few times that I've failed lived forever in my wife's memory. She dreaded my fooling with a machine that had outlived it's life. I promised that the job would only take about five minutes. She heard this before and resigned herself to having parts all over the kitchen floor and a full day of catastrophe.
