First, I removed and disassembled the agitator unit in an attempt to diagnose the problem. I then observed (by manual rotation that the cogs were not engaging). Physical inspection did not reveal any abnormality. However, I knew that the cogs had to be the problem since they were not engaging properly. After looking up the part on your web page, I noticed from the picture that the cogs actually has a couple of small teeth on them (mine was missing the teeth from all four cogs). Apparently they had worn off or had broken completely off during the last use. I received the new parts as ordered, replaced them in the agitator unit and re-assembled the agitator unit. The washer now works perfectly again. Thanks for the service and ESPECIALLY the detailed pictures. They were a tremendous help in solving our issue. We will purchase parts from you again if needed ... saved me a repair call or puchasing of a new unit.
