water went out but washer would not spin. It also smelled like something was burning real bad.

Ordered a timer from parts select and it was the wrong part. The washer could not be fixed after all. It wasn't the timer and it wasn't the belt either. The washer just went. I had to send the part back and when I called , the woman on the phone was very nice to deal with. She said just send it back and they will credit my account. I have not had such a pleasant experience dealing with someone on the phone in a long time. After over 10 years of hard use with this washer I can't complain and I will buy another Frigidaire. The dryer is still going strong.
