waher door would not latch it self closed.

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the white element out that was about 3 inches long. I then placed it with a black 3" inch part. I placed the two screws back into their oringal holes and finished tighting them with a srcewdrive. Wola ! My job was complete and I was back to washing my clothes again.
