First, the part arrived the day after I ordered it online! And I saved a couple hundred dollars by doing it myself.
For the repair, first I gently pried off the dispenser cover plate. I unscrewed 4 screws and pried off the dispenser trigger unit. I unplugged the two connectors attached to the control board. I unscrewed the 2 screws holding the control board in place and removed the old control board and inserted the new board. I then screwed the bracket back on, plugged in the two connectors, put the control board unit back in place, popped in the dispenser trigger, screwed the dispenser trigger back in place and popped the cover plate in place.
It was a very simple repair.
