I followed instructions that came with the part. The really difficult thing is you're working blind from the front of the dryer (can't see where the belt is threading) and doing it from a picture I found that shows the parts from the rear of the dryer. So apart from not seeing what you're doing you have to create a mirror image in your head of the pulleys. Thought I'd done it wrong when I'd put it back together and the tumbler/drum wouldn't turn. Talked to an appliance store who recommended taking the door off the back to see. I saw that everything was right, I just needed to turn the tumbler a few times to get the belt seated in the right place.
