I removed the 2 screws holding the front of the dryer and removed the front. I then removed a guard in front of the blower housing. I then removed several screws to open the blower housing to access the fan. The fan was held on the shaft with a snap ring which I removed with a snap ring pliers. I removed the fan and slid the new fan on and reassembled the dryer. Care must be taken when the blower housing is reinstalled to insure the felt air tube is aligned correctly.
