Unhooked the hoses and wires from the pump assembly, then took the pump assembly out of the dishwasher, took the pump assemby apart, separated the impeller from the motor. Put in new impeller with a new o ring on motor shaft. Since I don't have a repair manual i had to figure out each step. Then I reversed the order to put it back together. Ran it twice. Didn't leak. Put it back under the counter and ""buttoned it up.It took a Saturday to take it apart, I ordered the parts on Sunday. the parts arrived on Friday and I put it back together on Saturday. If you are not mechanically inclined you can still give it a try, the worst you could do is fail and end up buying a new one.
