It was easy. BUT MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG.
I didn't actually turn the water off, but that's not a bad idea either. The only issue with keeping the power on is that when you are removing the piece that holds the board it triggers the switch for water to come out. AND YOU GET WET. I am certain.
But you just pop the cover, remove 4 screws, then two screws, pull the control board, replace, and reverse above instructions. The only difficult thing was getting the left cable attached back to the board just b/c there was no slack. It took two attempts, but I was still done in 15 minutes.
It would be nice if you could just replace the switch, or it it were made of metal, but alas you have to pay nearly $50 for this simple problem. It does slide better than ever before!
