When the dryer drum stopped tumbling, I followed the instructions on PartsSelect to remove pop the top of the dryer and then remove the screws to remove the front panel. Then I could see the broken belt underneath the drum.I did pull out the drum itself to get a better look at the motor and pulley to see where the new belt would need to go. I replaced the drum by pushing it back and then rotating it so it would fit back into the groove on the rear panel.Once I received the new belt, I followed the steps included with the belt package to loop the new belt around the drum and then thread it over the pulley and around the motor. The entire repair was very easy and so much cheaper than buying a new dryer.
